Job Description
Reporting to the relevant Senior Manager, the Climate Action Coordinator will co-ordinate, manage and develop the implementation of Dublin City Council’s response to the challenges of climate change mitigation and adaptation.
This is a challenging and exciting position and requires both a broad technical knowledge of climate change, the risks and possible adaptation strategies and also strong organisational, networking and communication skill set.
The role also requires a good knowledge of the operation of local authorities and their role in relation to government departments for governance, finance and reporting structures. Climate Change funding can be made available through a variety of European and National funding streams, and therefore, knowledge of potential funding streams and of the process in applying for such monies will also be important.
Salary: €78,307 - €97,731
