Job Description

The principle task of the Biodiversity Officer will be to report to the City Parks Superintendent or other delegated officer to fulfil Dublin City Councils commitment to international, national, regional and City policy in relation to the conservation and management of biodiversity. The role involves managing biodiversity projects and initiatives in collaboration with other agencies and local communities. The role requires an ability to engage with the public and work as part of a team within Dublin City Council. The Biodiversity Officers will be required to collaborate as a team and contribute to a wider team with responsibility for parks operations, capital projects and tree care within Parks, Biodiversity and Landscape Services.

Salary: €57,336 - €79,701
